The event has involved more than 50 researchers from both human and computing sciences that have gathered to build a shared understanding about social signals and nonverbal communication.

Presentations and contributions have covered a wide spectrum of topics related to Social Signal Processing, from machine intelligence in social behavior to psychological aspects of human-human communication. Furthermore, a panel discussion has addressed the problem of bridging the gap between human and computing sciences.
